Greasers Vs. Socs!

    One of the issues that deeply impacted the story "The Outsiders" was the fact that there were two different gangs. Those gangs were known as the "Greasers" and the "Socs" or the Socials.  The "Greasers" were those  that had it rough in life and were considered scum to others. Then there was the "Socs" or the Socials. They were the rich, good looking group who had everything delivered to them on a silver platter and had their life made. Having gangs like these could sometimes lead to fights, robbery, and even enough hatred for the fuzz(police) to be involved! These two groups were officially against one another, which of course was how it had to be when you belonged in a gang.
